Sonepar USA is always looking to recruit passionate and ambitious candidates for our early career programs. We offer paid opportunities such as internships, cooperative education and a rotational development program for recent grads. All our programs include hands-on meaningful work, formal training, the chance to connect with senior leaders, and mentoring relationships with supportive colleagues. Recent Graduates


Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals (STEP) is a dynamic, intensive (12-month) rotational program designed to educate, train and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands-on experience in every aspect of our business in addition to e-learning, subject matter expert training, and travel to select business locations across the US. As you rotate through different functions, you will get exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, e-commerce, and our business philosophy at Sonepar.

In addition to your rotations, you will also experience:

Sonepar USA is Powering Progress for Future Generations by offering industry experience, professional development, and a supportive culture. As a key member of our team, you will leverage classroom knowledge to complete business essential projects, tackle innovative challenges, and collaborate with your intern cohort. 

Interns have access to LinkedIn Learning, a stellar electrical industry curriculum with NAED, participate in an enlightening speaker series to develop understanding of Sonepar USA's business and customers, as well as present capstone projects to functional leaders and teams. Qualifications:
  • Actively enrolled student in a degree completion program, accredited Department of Defense program, Hiring our Heroes, or Military Spouse Employment Partnership. 
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher required in core degree of study. 
  • Rising junior, senior or master's candidate in a degree completion program.
  • Curriculum of study aligns to core disciplines of the business (Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, IT, Finance, Marketing, Communications & Human Resources.)
  • Available to work on-site in one of our corporate/local offices:
      Maitland, FL; Hamilton, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Charleston, SC, and Irving, TX
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong academic background.
  • Prior internship, research, or professional experience preferred. 
  • Must be authorized to work for Sonepar USA in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
